A Little About Me....
Hi! I’m Kristen, and I’m genuinely so excited to share the joy of American Mahjong with you and your friends in these beautiful mountain towns we get to call home. The moment I was introduced to the game, I was hooked. Not long after, I bought my own set, started playing regularly with friends, and found myself teaching anyone who was curious to learn. A few months (and one newborn baby!) later, I realized I could blend my love of teaching with this newfound passion—and that’s how Mahj in the Mountains was born.
I get so much joy out of helping others learn and grow—it’s just part of who I am (classic ENFP over here!). Whether it's my love of creating positive, engaging experiences or my tendency to get a little too excited about fun details, I aim to make every lesson feel laid-back, lively, and something you’ll actually remember.
As a Chicago girl turned Evergreen local, I’m a snowboarding mama, interior design junkie, and totally obsessed with my German Shorthaired Pointers. I can’t wait to connect over mountains, motherhood, and of course…Mahjong!
